Meet our materials
The cycle of sustainability begins with the material and its production! That is why we embraced recyclable, biodegradable, or low-impact textiles. We choose a material which when produced responsibly, is even more natural than cotton!
The Tree
Straight outta the pulp from Beechwood tree, the fabric is extracted and produced in an environmentally conscious way than traditional fabrics.ย Manufactured under the name of TENCEL Modal by an Austrian company, Lenzing AG, the fabric uses environmentally friendly manufacturing procedures. It has a positive environmental impact because it is carbon neutral and uses 90% less water than the cultivation of cotton. Did we mention itโs also super comfortable, breathable, absorbent, and silky-smooth? Basically better for you and the planet.
TRIMA
So we looked and looked and could not find a blend that makes us create more. So we created TRIMA, fusing TREE, a renewable birchwood fabric by TENCEL, with Supima Cotton. Supima is soft, durable, and eco-friendly, symbolizing opulence and eco-care, extracted from sunny forests of the USA. And our TREE, derived from birchwood pulp, is the fabric of the future, celebrated for its softness, breathability, and antibacterial traits.
PACKAGING
When the first layers are responsible, so should the outer layer, the packaging. You will find your clothing in a reusable cloth bag made out of recycled plastic bottles, with no energy wasted on synthetic polymers or rigorous and harmful dyeing process. Not just that, the shipping bag is made up of bioplastic produced from vegetable oil and rice starch.
